Our promise to the artisans of brilliance
Ulysse Poncet has been supporting jewelry and watchmaking houses in their finest creations since 1926, following in the footsteps of the expertise that makes France shine.
In the heart of the Jura region, the art of stone cutting has flourished, becoming a cornerstone of France's intangible cultural heritage. This expertise is passed down through generations like a living legacy. For a century, we have been shaping stones sourced from all corners of the world, from Bangkok to Hong Kong, by way of Tucson.
Our artisanal expertise is passed down from generation to generation through the skills of our lapidary artisans. Today, it is enriched by industrial expertise, supported by an R&D department dedicated to developing innovative processes that complement this expertise.
Our commitment is also reflected in our responsible practices, inherent to the quality and values upheld by the company for a century. We select our gemstones from committed suppliers and partners who share high standards of traceability, social and environmental responsibility, and transparency at every stage of the value chain. In particular, we are certified by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council), a concrete demonstration of this commitment.
